Monica enjoys working with children, and that gift can be used at MCF to help in the Sunday School.

My name is Monica, and I teach the 11 to 14 year olds in Powerhouse. I have learnt so much from doing this, because I have had to find out more about the Bible. I worked with children even before I became a Christian. This was good experience for me to teach the children in Powerhouse about being Christians.

During the week I work at the local health centre, where I also try to show people what it is to be a Christian, and share what I believe.

I find it hard to get up in the morning, so it was even harder to train myself to get up even earlier! I do this is so I can spend half an hour reading the Bible and praying. It doesn't just stop there though, as I pray during the day, and listen to Christian tapes in the car. This refreshes my faith all the time. If I didn't do this, my faith might drift away, and other things would take up my time.

Would you like to meet Sunday School teachers from other churches?

Meet Louise from the Church of England
Meet Sylvia from the Salvation Army Citadel
