Roger

My name is Roger, and I look after the home groups. This means I might have to put on a special course for some people, or create a new home group for people just starting.

I believe a church is not a building, but a group of people who meet together. Christians can meet in different ways. The whole church may come together on a Sunday morning, but the Bible also talks about meeting in small groups or cells.

During the week I am a director of a charity called Healthlink Worldwide. It helps with health in Third World countries. I work in this charity because of my Christian faith. When I was a doctor working in Zimbabwe I realised there was a need for people to be aware of health. As a Christian I believed God was concerned about this, and I knew could help.

Healthlink Worldwide is Roger's charity.
