Educhurch helps pupils explore Christian churches and find out what goes on there. They can get to know some of the Christians who make up the church, find out what they believe and how their beliefs affect the way they live their lives.

Educhurch was designed and written by Andrew Trythall from Sir Robert Hitcham's Primary School in Suffolk, and was supported by the Stapleford Centre, and Helen Thacker from Suffolk's RE advisory service. Educhurch is an on-going project, working in partnership with experts in their field, to create quality, on-line educational resources.

Development of Educhurch was supported by a bursary from The Jerusalem Trust, one of the Sainsbury Family Trusts. These bursaries, administered by the Stapleford Centre in Nottingham, are available for developing new school curriculum resources to use in teaching Christianity in RE.

The Stapleford Centre is an interdenominational centre for Christian education which produces both materials for classroom useand provides distance learning courses and in-service training for teachers. These support RE, assembly, spiritual and moral development across the whole of the school curriculum. For full details visit www.stapleford-centre.org.
