The garden is at the side of the citadel, and is in memory of local Salvationists who have died. There is a plaque on the wall with their names on. On the plaque it also says,

'God Almighty first planted a garden. And indeed it is the purest of human pleasures.'

Christians believe that the beauty of nature, such as these flowers, show the Glory of God.
