Juliet and Peter with their two sons

Our names are Juliet and Peter, and we have two boys: Matthew (14) and Simon (10). Families are very important in our citadel. The 13+ group is led by a husband and wife team, and there is a very good sunday school. This helps us to bring our children up as Salvationists. These groups teach our children the same things that we teach them at home, such as the importance of praying or reading the bible.

We teach our children at home about the Christian faith through the way we live. We say grace at meal times, pray togther, and help them in their own beliefs through talking to them and buying them books.

We feel it's important to show them that there is a different way of living from the examples they see around them, such as on television. We hope that we are giving them a strong faith to help them in the future, when they are older, and have to make decisions for themselves. It is like sowing a seed inside Simon and Matthew when they are young, so that it will grow into faith as a Christian when they are older.
