The soup run provides hot food and drink for the homeless in Ipswich town centre.

The soup run is when Salvationists provide food for people who are not only homeless in Ipswich, but also those who are needy or lonely.

Every night they give soup, sandwiches, cake, biscuits, chips and a chance to chat. It is a way of sharing their faith, but the most important thing is helping other people in need. The food is cooked in the kitchen at the citadel, and then transported by minibus to the centre of Ipswich.
