Joy

Joy is an intercessor, which means she will pray at the front during the service.

My name is Joy. I am a churchwarden, an intercessor (praying), a bible reader, help at the SMUF club, and even do the church flowers.

I believe that prayer is vital. It is the link between God and us. We have to get our prayer life right. Prayer happens all the time, wherever you are, as God is always there with you, close by.

Meeting with other Christians, or fellowship, is important too. It is a time to share, pray together and learn from each other. This will bring us closer to God.

As churchwarden, I have to fill the books in at the end of every service. I write down how many people came, and how much money there was in the offering (collection).

Joy has to fill in the books at the end of every service.
