Many churches have war memorials. At Combs, they have a plaque to help remember the people in Combs who died during the war. It has a list of the soldiers who died, and the name of the war they died in.

On November 11th at 11 am, people stand for one minute in silence to remember those who have died during a war. Poppies are placed on the war memorial as a sign of remembrance.
