Although retired, Bob is still working on farms!

My name is Bob. I became a Christian when I was quite young. I was brought up in a Christian family, but I realised that my Christian faith was between me and God, and so I had to make up my own mind about being a believer.

I love being at MCF. It is good to meet with other Christians and to praise God. It lifts my spirits when I see other people worshipping God, and helps me to do it too.

I've retired from farming, but now I help my son going round farms putting in feeding systems. My life is full, and the days aren't long enough! During the week I also go to a home group, where I meet with people of all different ages.

I need God to help me every day. Being a Christian is not just on Sundays, but the whole week through. Every day I need God to guide me, and ask Him to help me, so that I may not dishonour Him. Looking back through my life, I can see that when I've prayed about something, God has helped me more than I could ever have dreamt.

Would you like to meet older people from other churches?

Meet Harold from the Church of England
Meet Ethel from the Salvation Army Citadel
