At the front of the church is a platform which people stand on so the congregation (everyone in the service) can see them. This might be people doing the talk, singers, or people who pray. Microphones are used so everyone can hear them.

A data projector is connected to a computer and video so that people can see the words to songs, notes from the talk, notices, or video clips.
