Steve M. is the youth leader.

My name is Steve, and I am the youth worker here. My job is to look after the young people in the church, anyone from the babies to school leavers. As well as planning what they are going to do at MCF, I have pastoral care for them. I go into schools and take assemblies and PE lessons. I also look after two students who are working with MCF for the year.

I believe it's important to give young people a foundation on which to make good decisions in the future. It may not be about God, but it is about equipping them for life so that they can make wise choices.

Being a Christian isn't just about doing something on a Sunday, but it's a part of your everyday life. There are things in life that are easy and hard, and your Christian faith helps you through both. During the week I'm also a semi-professional football player. Being a Christian makes me realise that God has given me gifts to play and enjoy sport, and so I play football to the best of my ability.
